Job Description
- Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing
- Position Title: Assistant Planning Manager / Assistant Manager
- Working Location: Ang Mo Kio
- Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 8.30 AM – 5.30 PM)
- Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $7,000 + AWS + Bonus + Mobile Allowance
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the materials planning function to meet the targeted Sales revenue and Sales growth set by top management
- Manage, monitor and control the materials positioning to meet customer’s requirements and with a reasonable level of inventory
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, apply and use different Order Policies for better inventory control and assurance of materials supply
- Review customer demand with the team for both materials and resources availability
- Streamline all workflows and standardize all procedures and practices between different divisions
- Ensure the team provide regular CTB reports to Mktg and customers and also provide visibility to top management for potential sales
- Ensure the team continue releasing job orders to keep the lines running efficiently and avoid line down and minimize OT.
- Support material activities required by the Manufacturing site (PCBA / EQM / VN / Cables Harness)
- Support activities required by Customers - MinMax, buffer stock, VMI, Consignment stock, Change of Manufacturing
- Monitor and ensure the team implement ECN /TCN timely and effectively
- Monitor and ensure the team follow up on Obsolences & Excess materials claim
- Provide training and guidelines to the staff

- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business or related field
- Possess 10+ years of experience in production & materials planning or a managerial role in a Subcontract Electronics manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, Inventory management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodology & Lean Manufacturing principles
