Tanker Shipmanagement Company, is seeking to employ an Assistant Accountant, with minimum 2 years’ experience in a shipping company, relevant university degree, solid knowledge of MS Office and English, knowledge of ERP Accounting Systems with preference to Benefit.
Job Description involves:
- Posting office/vessels invoices, disbursements
- Invoice checking
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely reconciliation of vessels invoices
- Maintaining ledgers, balancing accounts
- Contact person for creditors queries, clarifications
- Undertaking tasks assigned by Finance /Accounting Manager
- Process all petty cash payments
- Posting payment entries, reconciliation of bank accounts on a monthly basis
- Follow up VAT refunds/ credit notes from suppliers
- Monitoring and performing daily Payments
- Monitoring & Checking MGA
